Technology:

Laser energy safely penetrates a client’s skin at a specific wavelength (658 nm) targeted for adipose (fat) cells. Adipose cells are permeated releasing free fatty acids, water and glycerol. Together these compounds are known as triglycerides. Triglycerides are normally released from fat cells when the body needs energy. Once released, the glycerol and free fatty acids are used by the body as an energy source. Adipose cells “shrink” significantly, resulting in inch-loss for clients.

Principle&Results:

Lipo laser treatment uses low level laser therapy technology that mimics the body’s natural metabolic process, which creates a chemical signal in the fat cells, breaking down the stored triglycerides into free fatty acids and glycerol and releasing them though channels in the cell membranes. The fatty acids and glycerol are then transported around the body to the tissues that will use them during metabolism to create energy. This process of fatty acid release is a natural response of the body when the body needs to used stored energy reserves, thus lipo is not creating any unnatural reaction in the body nor does it affect or damage any surrounding structures such as skin, blood vessels and peripheral nerves. As the adipocytes release these triglycerides into circulation their size diminishes, resulting in effective body contouring and a reduction in the appearance of cellulite.
